New Food Classics has finally decided that it is time to move it’s meat and poultry manufacturing plant from Calgary.  These guys have been considering a move for 3 years and the first move was to expand the Saskatoon plant.  Now with some Ontario government money we are losing a food manufacturer with this recent announcement.  See the article

The buildings to be marketed are:

Brandon Street Plant
4043 Brandon Street SE

13A Street Plant
4211 13A Street SE

Both plants are antiquated and will need major renovations to meet current standards as it relates to efficiency.  They are however, federally inspected food processing plants and will give a prospective food manufacturing user a leg up as it relates to the regulartory side of their business.
